Ingredients: Dry:
2 C white flour
2 C white sugar
3/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 t salt
2 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
Wet:
2 t vanilla extract
1 C cold black coffee
1 C milk (or 2 cups coffee)
1 t white vinegar
1/2 C vegetable oil
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
3. In a large bowl, stir together dry ingredients until blended.
4. Add wet ingredients and beat until smooth.
5. Batter will be thin. Pour into baking dish.
6. Bake for 45 - 55 minutes until toothpick comes out dry.
7. Allow cake to cool before frosting.
8. Optional: I prefer to bake this cake in two pans 11 x 7 glass dish and an 8 x 8 glass dish.
